More County Library Books is a project in support of the Williamson County, TN public library system.

Make a Difference Day at the Williamson County Public Library, October 22, 2005

County Mayor Rogers Anderson got down on the floor to read Dolly Parton's book Coat of Many Colors. An autographed copy of the book, donated by Dolly was later given away.

Our goal is to support literacy and education in our growing community by stocking the shelves of our FREE public Libraries.

Individuals and businesses can sponsor new books for as little as $20 (tax deductible through the Friends of the Library, a recognized non-profit). Bookplates will be used to honor sponsors. Donate Now through this secure site, or by mailing donations (print a Donation Form from the menu at left and mail to: Friends of the Library, 1314 Columbia Ave., Franklin, TN 37064), or print a form and bring your donation to any branch (note: the Brentwood City library, which charges county users a fee of $50 per person, is not considered a branch of the library system). Mailed donations, and donations made in person avoid the PayPal convenience fee.

Make checks payable to the Friends of the Library.
